**Overall Purposes**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Quality Assurance Framework**:_
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality assurance system to ensure academic excellence and consistency across all programmes.
- Lead the design and review of policies, procedures, and practices to support continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular internal audits of academic standards and learning outcomes.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:_
- Ensure the college remains compliant with all relevant regulatory bodies, including Office for Students, Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), along with policies and strategies developed by UK Graduate College.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative and sector changes, advising senior leadership on implications and necessary adjustments.
- **Strategic Leadership**:_
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for institutional improvement and growth.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on quality assurance and compliance matters.
- Act as the primary liaison with external bodies, preparing for and managing inspections and reviews.
- **Monitoring and Reporting**_
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data to monitor institutional quality.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders, regulators, and accrediting bodies.
- Address areas of non-compliance or underperformance, developing and implementing action plans.
- **Staff Training and Development**_
- Deliver training and workshops on quality assurance and compliance for academic and administrative staff.
- Foster a culture of quality and accountability across the institution.
**Key Skills and Qualifications for Successful Applicant**:
- Qualification of Post Graduation Degree from any reputed University with any certification related to the post from any quality assurance awarding body.
- Proven experience in a senior quality assurance or compliance role within education, preferably in higher education in the UK.
- Appropriate understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Office for Students, Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), and other relevant bodies.
- Ability to manage complex workloads and motivate a team, working with staff at all levels to ensure centrally agreed policy is implemented and adopted fairly and consistently across all faculties and Programs.
- Have excellent oral and written skills with the ability to produce clear policies, procedures, reports and presentations, and convey complex information with confidence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
