Are you a parent/carer for someone who has needed Tier 4 (inpatient) CAMHS care?
Would you like to join a team to support parents/carers of those currently patients in Tier 4 CAMHS?
Join the team at Thames Valley Provider Collaborative* to provide support to parents who have children requiring specialist (Tier 4) mental health services.
We are looking to recruit a small team of staff who have personal experience of caring for someone that has been in the care of Tier 4 CAMHS. They will work together to support other parents whose children are under the care of a Tier 4 service. They will meet via phone and video call, predominantly helping the parents prepare for their child to be admitted, help them to navigate meetings and processes they may come across and provide support so that they are able to work closely with the clinical team in the coproduction of care and support.
**The applicants will also have**:
- diploma level education or equivalent experience,
- experience of working as part of a team, and
- strong communication skills.
Postholders will be supported through individual induction programme, with regular supervision and via a network of people doing similar roles through England.
Flexible working arrangements are possible, however, if working from home a confidential space with no interruptions will be essential. Posts may be offered part time or full time according to applicant preference and the availability of hours within the team. Working hours are generally between 9am and 5pm with occasional evening meeting to support parent meetings.

- Thames Valley Provider Collaborative are a group of providers working together to provide specialist mental health care for children and young people. They cover Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and BSW (Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.) Please see attached documents for further information.
