**IN-HOUSE CREATIVE GRAPHIC DESIGNER - Full-time, permanent**
- This position is entirely office based_
Join the Lake District’s leading family-owned group of hotels as a part of the creative marketing team behind the 6+ venues. If you are artistic, organised and able to work quickly under pressure then you will love it here. You will need to be enthusiastic and use your own initiative as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously, have excellent people and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
Design projects range from menu design to food and drink adverts, posters and digital brochures for hotels and spa as well as other promotional material to inspire people to eat, drink and stay at one of the venues. But the job is never boring and every day is different, with a wide range of experiences for you to get involved in which may include assisting photo shoots or brainstorming for a new project. You will meet and work with a large range of friendly people who run the hotels to help them promote their businesses. HTML and digital skills would be useful, but not essential.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Excellent attention to detail and natural design flair
- Be able to design a range of marketing communication tools both offline and digital such as posters, menus, brochures, leaflets, signage, adverts, social media graphics, logos and illustrations while adhering to brand guidelines
- Work across our portfolio of hotels, restaurants and businesses
- Work with external printers to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Provide support, ideas and solutions to the marketing department
- Previous experience of working as a graphic designer
- Experience of using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role is based at our head office at the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa. 40 hours a week. Salary negotiable.
