Reptiles By Post is looking for a full-time operative to join our growing team.

Reptiles By Post is a specialist online reptile store, our operations are based in Birtley, and we ship to customers across the whole of UK.

We pride ourselves on offering an outstanding service, with attention to detail in everything we do. We ship thousands of orders weekly containing a range of reptile products, including live insects, frozen foods and specialist hardware products.

Our customers reply on us to provide everything they need to look after their pets at home, it matters that we ship orders accurately and on time. We work closely with our suppliers and couriers to ensure we can deliver an outstanding service.

We are looking for an experienced operative who is confident, hardworking and cares about the work they do daily.

You'll be joining a small team where your opinion and voice is heard, you’ll get to help shape the future of a rapidly growing business with a lot of potential.

- The ability to share and relay important information concisely
- Comfortable with handling insects, (usually pre boxed in tubs)
- Be punctual and mindful of time.
- Have a great outgoing personality.

**Day-to-day jobs will include but are not limited to.**
- Unpacking orders and stock as they arrive
- Refilling picking locations
- Picking and packing orders
- Setting up picking benches to ensure the team can work efficiently
- Controlling packing supplies and placing orders for required supplies when necessary
- Keeping all areas tidy and clean
- Supporting the overall running and management of the business.

Working hours are from 8am till 4/5pm, with a guaranteed 35 hours per week split over 5 days. The role is paid at national minimum wage, you will also receive a bunch of benefits including **FREE** livefoods and frozen foods to look after any reptiles you may have at home as well cost-based pricing on all other goods. We never make a penny off the items our staff take home

The position is available with an almost immediate start.
