A well-known business based in Hull is currently recruiting for a Temporary Sales Ledger to join their Finance Team. On offer is a salary of between £20k to £28k depending on the successful individuals experience.

This is an immediate start for an initial 3-month contract, but this could be extended or lead to permanent opportunities for the right individual.

This is a hybrid role with flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities for the successful Temporary Sales Ledger will include:

- General sales ledger
- Producing invoices
- Banking and reconciliation
- Ensuring invoices are posted to the system accurately and cash is allocated daily
- Checking VAT has been included on invoices
- Providing creditors with VAT receipts
- Query resolution with customers in a timely manner
- Chasing up outstanding debt
- Sorting out any rebates and filing
- Other ad hoc duties as required

We are keen to speak with individuals who have previous similar experience in a Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, or Credit Controller position and who can demonstrate excellent communication and query resolution. You may be a Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger,General Ledger, or Credit Controller already and looking for a new challenge.

Similarly, we would like to speak to junior individuals that may not have as much finance experience but have worked a previous admin role and processed invoices before.

Located just outside the city centre of Hull, with free onsite parking, this role is easily commutable from Hessle, Cottingham, Beverley, Ganstead, Preston and the surrounding areas.
