An accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Third Sector, CAIS) in order to: Provide a safe and efficient patient pathway and provide information and appropriate support to families and carers The post holder will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive high quality medical secretarial and administrative service to the consultant doctor and junior medical team and specialist nursing teams, other health professionals. The post holder will be responsible for the guidance and direction of the team dealing with appropriate day to day issues to oversee the smooth running of the department and providing support to the line manager. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and efficient Medical Secretary to cover 12 month period of Maternity Leave. You will need to be highly motivated, flexible in approach, use your initiative in sometimes complex situations, to provide an excellent administration support to the department, contributing to the delivery of an effective and efficient service in a professional, sensitive and helpful manner. You will work as part of a large team supporting other team members and will need to work closely with a range of staff including Clinicians, General Practice. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
