**This role is office based, in our Haywards Heath branch**

Do you have experience in customer service/administration, taking incoming and making outgoing phone calls? We are looking for team members to join Medserv. This will provide an insight to the Private Medical industry by resolving our client’s outstanding accounts.

**What’s the opportunity**

We are looking to recruit an Administrator to help handle incoming payments calls and to pick up varied admin tasks. Our ideal applicant is a self-starter, who is eager to learn and can work off their own initiative. Good communication skills are also a bonus - we here at Medserv are firm believers in open communication being a key to success

**About Medserv**

Medserv was established by Cormac Loughrey in 2005 and has rapidly grown to become the largest company specialising in medical billing in the UK & Ireland. Medserv UK was established in 2010 and initially was run from the Irish Office. In 2014 the first UK based office was opened. Due to massive growth in the first 3 years we moved to a larger UK office in 2017 where we are now based in Haywards Heath.

**What will I be doing**

With our core values of Quality, Innovation, Integrity & Excellence in mind, the employee will be responsible for primary duties & responsibilities which include:

- Managing a high volume of incoming calls from patients wishing to settle private healthcare invoices(no cold calling). Maintaining high level of professionalism, providing precise and accurate information or instruction on further proceedings
- Contacting insurers and hospitals and on a daily basis to access updates on outstanding claims and to establish why claims have not been paid/submitted
- Picking up any other administration tasks such as opening post.

- A strong team player with the confidence to work on your own initiative
- The ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Possess excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise time effectively
- The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with management and all colleagues
