**Junior Marketing Assistant**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Junior Marketing Assistant to join our Eastbourne based Digital Marketing Agency. As Junior Marketing Assistant you will support the Digital Marketing Team on a range of projects for a large portfolio of clients.

This is a varied role and no day will be the same. Whilst some experience in a related role would be helpful it is more important you have a proven passion / interest in digital marketing. Excellent written skills and a passion for writing is essential as content creation will form a significant part of this role. From writing copy for websites to creating blogs for different companies to creating engaging copy for social media posts.

**The Role**:

- Researching and writing copy for websites
- Researching and writing blogs for Fountain Digital and our clients
- Writing press releases and editorial pieces
- Creating social media posts for Fountain Digital and our clients (sourcing on-brand images and creating engaging copy for posts)
- Scheduling social media posts
- Basic SEO tasks including: optimising content using SEO tools, creating engaging meta titles and descriptions, link building
- General administrative duties

**Essential Requirements**:

- Excellent written, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to adapt creative writing for different audiences
- Strong analytical / research skills for content creation
- A passion for digital marketing
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and ability learn quickly
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Excellent communicator - both written and verbal
- Experience in social media posting and post creation (this can be personal or business experience)
- Meticulous attention to detail and an eye for design
- Tech savvy

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in a content creation or a digital marketing role
- An understanding of SEO
- Experience in scheduling and creating social media posts for different companies
- Previous experience of writing blogs and content for different sectors
