We are currently looking to recruit an Administration Assistant on a permanent contract. This role will be within the Logistics Department based at the Cockermouth Manufacturing Business Unit.

**Main duties of this role will include but are not limited to**:

- Providing administrative support to the logistics team.
- Dealing with all incoming enquiries.
- Updating delivery status reports.
- Liaising with shipping companies ensuring stock is transported and delivery is on time.
- Arranging and completing all associated paperwork and customs documents.
- Liaising with warehouse and monitoring stock levels.
- Dealing with clients and their accounts.
- Processing and checking invoicing and amending where necessary.
- Liaising with international clients and suppliers both in the UK and worldwide.
- Updating in house systems (Oracle/Apex currently) ensuring data is kept accurate.
- Experience of working within a logistics role would be of an advantage for this role as would a good understanding of import and export processes.
- A minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C/level 4 or above including English, Maths and Science.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent IT skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to process information in a timely manner.
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
- The ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment
