**Job Title**: Weekend Part Time Sales Assistant

**Position Type**: Part-Time (8 hours per week, one day of the weekend)

**Salary**: *£11.50 per hour

*Applicants must be over 16 years of age. Please note advertised starting salary is for 21 and overs only; a reduced pay scale is applied for applicants under 21 years old in line with the DWP guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Greet and assist customers with their purchases, providing product information and recommendations.
- **Sales**: Drive sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- **Merchandising**: Ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing, with products displayed attractively.
- **Cash Handling**: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- **Stock Management**: Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organising stock.
- **Cleanliness**: Maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
- **Teamwork**: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and provide an excellent shopping experience.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
- **Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- **Attitude**: Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock.
