To support the addition of new cottages Meikleour Estate is looking for a **Housekeeper for their award winning boutique hotel The Meikleour Arms (AA BEST PUB SCOTLAND 2019/20, The Daily Telegraph top UK hotels 2020). **The Meikleour Arms (4 Star Gold, 1 Rosette) has been in the same family for 200 years. It attracts a varied customer base all year long: locals, salmon anglers, golfers, shooting parties and holiday makers.

You will join the housekeeping team cleaning and taking care of our beautiful rooms and holiday cottages. Our accommodations are praised for their stylish design and impeccable standard of cleaning. Our housekeepers are proud of their work and are true ambassadors of the estate.

**Hours of work**: We can offer a part-time position or full-time.
If full-time if required it may need to be combined with other responsibilities, for example helping the restaurant team serving breakfast.
A typical part housekeeping shift will be from 9am to 4pm with earlier start if you are helping the breakfast team.

**Package**:
The hourly rate equivalent is £12.33 (£11 + 12.07% holiday pay) and on top of that you will receive around £1.50 per hour of shared tips (through an HRMC compliant tronc scheme), so **you will receive over £13.80/hour**.

**Requirements**:

- You must have an eye for details and some experience in setting-up bedrooms. We would appreciate if you have previous experience gained in quality hotels but training will be provided.
- Ideally you will have a clean driving license in order to use the estate laundry van to service our off-site cottages.
