Calibration Administrator

Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Calibration Administrator to join our team based in Bishops Cleeve and Staverton in a brand-new role which has been created to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.

What you'll be doing
You’ll be responsible for the Management and Control of our Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Test Equipment across our Bishops Cleeve and Staverton sites in Gloucestershire. You’ll work closely with external calibration houses and onsite contractors, whilst internally supporting our NPI Engineering by managing the transfer of test equipment into the database.

In addition you’ll be accountable for ensuring all calibrated items are traceable to national standards through meticulous database management to include equipment recall, certification and traceability management. You’ll update, scan and process Calibration and Test Equipment documents in addition to managing spare components/equipment in various locations, including offsite.

What you'll already have

You'll be comfortable using MS Office and ERP Systems and be able to demonstrate the ability to accurately enter data and review data with a high attention to detail. We're a fast-moving business so you'll need to be confident and able to prioritise tasks as the business demands.

It’s essential that you’ll be able to travel to both our Bishops Cleeve and Staverton sites.
