**Support Worker Residential Care Children**
**Salary**:£19,760 - £22,360 Per Annum
**Location**: Cardiff
Join this company and really make a difference to the lives of teenagers with learning disabilities and / or mental health issues.
They support children aged 13 to 18 in small residential homes (maximum 4 bedrooms) in Cardiff to learn new skills, achieve their goals and live their best lives.
The role often entails some personal care (help with bathing and toileting) along with supporting the children in their day to day activities both inside and outside the home. The care provider encourages them to maintain a degree of independence in everythingthey do and promote their choices.
The company run an “active support” programme the aim being to allow children access to a wider range of opportunities and engage in activities alongside other people, building relationships and social networks and building on the skills they already have.
They have vacancies for full-time, part-time and relief Support Workers.
