Multi Utility Team Leader

GTC are part of a family of companies owned by BUUK Infrastructure group and we are currently recruiting for a Multi Utility Team Leader To safely install Gas / Water / Electric / Fibre Services to relevant standards, responsible for work within area of competence and assisting team leader. This full time, permanent, position is based in the South. You will be covering the RH, BN, GU & PO postcode areas so travel should be expected in this role.

We are looking for someone with experience working on development sites and public highways.

**Day to day activities will include -**
- Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE that is supplied.
- Install and commission water, gas, electric and fibre services as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions
- Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use
- Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Operations Supervisor
- Identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Area Field Engineer/Supervisor and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure
- Complete site specific risk assessments on a daily basis and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
- Act as a Competent Person (if assessed as competent)
- Attend “toolbox talks” and other training courses as required
- Record accurately details of work undertaken
- Submit relevant work details for recording and invoicing in the required timescale
Due to the nature of the role we would expect the successful applicant to have the following qualifications (or equivalent)
- NC02 for Main Laying / Service Laying (or equivalent).
- SCO1, 2, & 5
- Water Hygiene certificate
- SHEA gas and SHEA water
- Full valid driving licence
