Check out the videos below showcasing why you should grow your career here with us at MPFT: Why Work for Mental Health Services at MPFT - YouTube Development and Progression Within Mental Health Services at MPFT - YouTube We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Mental health practitioner (a nurse, occupational therapist, or social worker) to join our team in working as a key member of our early intervention in psychosis team. You will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis. In this role you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, following a compassionate and person-centred approach that also draws on principles of assertive outreach. You will also work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best possible care and treatment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the relevant professional registration and have a passion for working with people with mental health needs. You should also have excellent communication skills and be committed to providing high quality care to our patients. This post will predominantly be covering the West of the patch, which includes Stafford, Seisdon, Cannock and surrounding areas. However the team as a whole provides input to people across South Staffordshire, working out of team bases across the Trust, as well as peoples homes, GP surgeries, other public settings, and inpatient settings.
