**Job Title: Parcel Sorter**

**Location: Dartford**

**Salary: £11.44 per hour (increasing to £12.07 after 12 weeks)**

**Working Hours: 1am - 9.30am**

**Availability: Immediate**

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Warehouse Operative in Dartford.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of warehouse tasks, including but not limited to scanning, sorting, and heavy lifting.
- Ensure all products are stored and labeled correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Prepare orders for delivery or pick up by checking for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles or containers.
- Use warehouse management systems to input data and track inventory.
- Conduct regular stock checks to identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
- Availability to work from 1am to 9am.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and scanning devices.
