**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Wash and sanitise dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or culinary industry is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks during peak hours.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
