A leading a 3rd part logistics company who are a primary supply chain business partner for British business. Logistic UK Awards and Supply Chain Excellence Awards winners. We have a fantastic chance to hire an I.T. Systems Help Analyst to support the DistributionCenter run by a prestigious client. Incorporating components of first-, second-, and third-line IT support both during business hours and as part of an on-call rota, this crucial function will support the efficient delivery of mission-critical business solutionsfor the operation. **ROLE SPECIFICATION**
- Report to the Desktop Team Manager
- ensuring optimal IT system availability to ensure a continuous, hassle-free, and effective warehouse operation
- Flexible working hours with the need to put in extra time as needed and participate in the support on-call rota.
- Identify and manage IT issues when under pressure, assessing their criticality and clearly communicate those priorities to non-IT literate people.
- investigate and order the importance of user support requests
- In response to management requests, perform ad hoc tasks and cover for other team members.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Must have previous experience working in a dynamic, quick-paced atmosphere with a can-do attitude toward problem resolution.
- Various experiences using warehouse management systems in an automated warehouse environment
- It is advantageous to have technical knowledge of Citrix platforms and exposure to Linux-based systems.
- possess the ability to operate both alone and collaboratively, recognising and elevating issues as necessary.
- Extreme Server Architecture, Windows and Linux desktop computers, thin clients, and printers
- knowledge in setting up PIs (desired but not essential)
- Configuration of a hand-held or wrist-mounted data terminal
- Ability to collaborate with third-party service providers and internal support teams to foresee problems and find solutions in order to offer consumers a service experience that is constantly improving.
- Ability to prioritise one's own job well and work in a team with little supervision.
- Windows Server roles such as Active Directory and user management
- Support for and configuration of firewalls (desired but not essential)
