We are currently looking for a Full Time Store Assistant, to join the team in our Rochdale Store (OL16 2AS)
**Hours of Work**:
35 per week
Monday - Thursday 8.45 - 5.15
Friday 8.45 - 4.15
**The Role**:
The role will be customer facing and will include:
Assisting customers in store, helping with their shopping needs, giving recommendations, making their shopping experience one they will want to come back to and is the professional face of Alan Howard.
The role will also include taking telephone orders for salon deliveries, liaising with customers and sales representatives, picking and processing of large quantities of orders ready for dispatch and merchandising and replenishment of stock deliveries among other duties. This is a fast paced environment and the role requires someone who is a customer focused, team player.
**Key skills**:
You will have a proven record of excellent customer service, basic computer skills for till work and a confident telephone manner. A positive can do attitude and a willingness to help others.
You will enjoy the challenge of a fast paced environment, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business. You will be professional and well presented.
Experience in retail, customer service or the hair and beauty industry would be an advantage
A full driving licence is preferred to be able to cover the delivery driver responsibilities when the driver is on annual leave or whenever needed. This will be a delivery van although this will only be required intermittently.
