**Role Overview**

Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Executive will be responsible for planning and managing events of all types including seminars, conferences and corporate hospitality delivered both in person and online. This will involve a significant amount of high-level administrative support and coordination.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Liaising with BD Teams from initial brief to on-the-day management and post event follow up
- Managing mailing lists and responses for external and internal events through our CRM system
- Producing and delivering events either in-person or by using our online event delivery platform
- Ensuring all BD events are recorded on InterAction (CRM system), our website (where required) and firmwide event schedule
- Keeping detailed and accurate records of any given event progress
- Ensuring that BD Team and those responsible for the event are kept fully updated on all event activity
- Responding in a professional and timely manner
- Preparing event collaterals such as name badges and attendance lists
- Setting up of exhibition stands and other materials
- Working with our external event finding agency to source appropriate venues for external functions or sourcing venues direct
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Events Manager

**Stakeholder management**:
The role requires extensive collaboration with colleagues, including, but not limited to the following:

- Business Development colleagues (particularly the CRM database team, Business Development Managers, Locations Team and Business Development Executives.)
- Partners, fee-earners and PAs
- Facilities team (particularly Client Services)
- Group Heads, Sector Heads and team leads
- Responsible Business team
- Internal Communications team
- External stakeholders: maintaining working relationships with vendors and venues.

**Relevant Experience**:

- Experience within in-person and virtual events.
- Events experience in all areas of online and in person event marketing, preferably, in a large organisation
- Preferred previous experience of a professional services environment
- Knowledge of InterAction (or similar CRM system)
- Knowledge of online event technology and delivery platforms (preferably Cisco Webex and MS Teams)
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint, Excel and Word
