**Hourly night PA / Carer / Support worker / Driver /Personal Carer / Harrow**

**Hours - approx. 30+ hours per week (Friday & Saturday nights 7pm to 7am shift pattern)**

**Benefits: £300 for two-night shifts**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**You will be required to work both Friday & Saturday nights with potential extra hours being available in the future. Smart formal clothing is required when taking him to work.**

Our client who has successfully completed a degree in Computer Science and is currently working in the city and is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant. Our client who is disabled is looking for someone who will help him at home and during the workplace.

Our client describes himself as a quiet but independent and friendly person who is easy to get on with.

Our client has a condition called Limgirdle Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) which is a disorder characterized by progressive muscle weakness. Our client will require your help with everyday tasks such as showering, going to the toilet, dressing cooking food, cleaning,leg exercises. He is permanently in a powered wheelchair.

You will be required to drive him to work and around as part of his everyday life e.g. for trips into town, social outings, football matches, appointments and also confidence in driving abroad.

Prior care experience is not required, all training will be provided but some experience is preferred.

**About You**

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided. An ideal applicant requirement sare:

- You will need to be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
- Full UK driving license is required
- Have the ability to commit to shifts (days, nights, weekends etc) Must be Flexible
- Confident in driving a small van
- Fluent in the English Language
- Enjoy Social events e.g. clubbing and music festivals
- Can carry out domestic tasks such as cleaning, ironing, washing and Cook
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Provide 'on call’ cover for absent colleague
- Non-Smoker
- You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
- Good organisational skills and being able to work on your own initiative
- Have a good sense of humour
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Excellent hearing and communication skills
- Willing to drive abroad
- Be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.

His interests include; going to football matches, gaming, shopping, clubbing, going to gigs and festivals eating out at pubs and restaurants and travelling to different places and abroad.

The role would be ideal for someone with similar interests and who lives within 30 minutes driving distance of Harrow.

You will be employed directly by our client who is supported by AskJules.
