The Rectory Hotel is recruiting

The Rectory has 15 boutique rooms and an exclusive 3 bed cottage cottage in the grounds. We also boast the beautiful glass-house serving the best freshly cooked, local produce from our brand new kitchen, a well stocked bar offering the most up to date spirits, cocktails and wines and a selection of tastefully decorated public areas including lounges, dining rooms and a swimming pool.

We are looking for a receptionist to join the team. This is as an important role, as you become the point of contact for all guests, from the beginning to the end of their stay. We need hardworking, outgoing and confident individuals who can take great pride in this important role.

Work patterns are based on shifts, working 5 days on a 7 day rota.

Shifts times vary and can be anytime between 7am - 11pm with an 8 hour shift expected per day.

A stones throw from the hotel is the Potting Shed Pub, also recently refurbished with an open kitchen, serving fantastic honest British food, again locally sourced, but geared to the fun and fast paced vibe of a high end pub. It’s a busy environment, with a great energy that is genuinely brilliant fun to be part of, both as a customer but also as a member of the team.

The pub and hotel share the same ethos of serving the highest quality, consistently brilliant food and drink with the best hospitality - we genuinely care about each and every guest’s experience. There is obviously a different vibe between the two sites, but the teams of both businesses are young, energetic and work fantastically together.

The physical geography of the businesses and their natural overlap allow individual team members the opportunity to work between the two operations, facilitating variety but more importantly the possibility for rapid progression within the group that goes hand in hand with increasing experience and exposure to the two different working environments.
