Caretaker

Yeovil College** is looking for a proactive **Caretaker**to join ou**r Estates and Facilities team.** Working a 5-week **shift pattern**, including early mornings and evenings, you’ll help maintain our 21st-century campus, including our transformative £60 million redevelopment

In this varied role, you’ll play a key part in **maintaining**campus cleanliness, managing waste and recycling, and swiftly addressing safety concerns. You’ll conduct regular **inspections**, carry out minor **repairs**, and ensure all **health and safety standards are met.**Additionally, you’ll respond to emergencies, assist with event setups, handle urgent cleaning tasks, and ensure campus security. Working closely with students, staff, and teams, you’ll help foster a positive, supportive **campus environment.** If you’re approachable, proactive, and passionate about providing excellent service, we’d love for you to join our team and help us keep **Yeovil College** at its best

**What we're looking for**:

- Proven experience in a caretaking / site keeping role in a similar environment.
- Experience in general maintenance and health and safety practices.
- Self-motivated and able to manage changing priorities.
- Customer focussed and confident to communicate with a range of stakeholders.

A current driving licence is essential.

Able to commit to a five-week rotating shift pattern.
