**SIA frontline licenced Female Security Officer in Poole Dorset**

**Full training will be provided for this job.**

**Full-time**

**Due to the nature of this position, a Female Officer is required as we conduct searches of both Male and Female persons**

12 hour shifts, rotation of 4 day shifts, then 4 days off duty, and then 4 night shifts, on a permanent rotation.

**Salary **£12.10 per hour, plus overtime available

Applicants must hold a current Frontline SIA Security licence

**Job Details**

Providing Maritime Security under International Ship and Port Facility Security (I.S.P.S.)

Conduct various searches of vehicles and people entering the Restricted Area under I.S.P.S. Code

Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence

Reporting any suspicious activity, packages, or any discrepancies with either ID or searches

Monitor and control access to Restricted Area via Access Control Points

Checking and controlling of HGV’s leaving and entering the Port

**Key Skills / Experience**

Proven work experience as a Security officer or equivalent position

Experience of delivering excellent Customer Service

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Some computer experience preferable, ability to write clear daily written reports

Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

Experience of working as part of a team or independently

Have an understanding of the Health and Safety at Work act

Uniform and training given
