Here's a brief overview of our client's company: Our client is a leading provider of insurance services in the UK, with a strong focus on property and casualty business. They pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and are always looking for new and innovative ways to stay ahead of the competition.

As a Development Underwriter, you will play a critical role in the success of our client's business. Your responsibilities will include developing and underwriting new business, maintaining relationships with a panel of brokers, and providing outstanding customer service. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and producing reports as needed.

**Here's what you'll be doing**:

- Underwriting a profitable book of UK Property and Casualty business
- Developing and underwriting new business
- Building and maintaining relationships with a panel of brokers
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining accurate systems and documentation and producing reports as required

**Here are the skills you'll need**:

- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on being part of a successful team
- Existing relationships with a number of brokers
- Advanced communication, negotiation and analytical skills
- ACII qualified
- Ability to work with a variety of systems and look for efficiencies in business processes

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
