**Location: Tyne & Wear**
**Contract: Fixed Term - 12 months to cover Maternity Leave**

Kura have an exciting opportunity for an **HR Advisor** to join our team on a fixed term basis for 12 months

The Role:

- Develop and maintain effective working partnerships with key stakeholders, and externally with customers and service providers.
- Drive improvements the effective handling of people matters and people manager capability through coaching and training.
- Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements
- Provide expert advice and guidance on the resolution of employee relations matters in line with HR policy, legislation and best practise, ensuring concerns are addressed consistently and timely.
- Proactively advise and provide case management support for a wide range of employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and attendance management.
- Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
- Support attendance management within the Operations, and occupational health referral management
- Record, identify and monitor trends in employee relations concerns and actions
- Proactively intervene, take action and establish initiatives to address and prevent employee relations concerns within the business.
- Identify and implement solutions to address people issues
- Support the HR Manager and HR Business Partners in the achievement of HR strategy
- Participate in and deliver HR projects
- Participate in recruitment and selection processes as required
- Work with the wider HR team to identify process improvement opportunities and develop seamless processes
- Maintain, develop and ensure compliance of HR policy and procedure in line with legislative and business changes

What we are looking for:
**Essential**
- Previous experience within a similar role within a Contact Centre or fast paced environment
- Experience helping others develop through coaching and sharing best practice
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- Highly personable, approachable and engaging with strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Practical, logical and innovative approach to problem solving
- Able to work within a team to deliver results
Skills in identifying problems and the ability to develop alternative solutions
- Good planning, time management and organisational skills
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft packages
- Strong HR system experience with the ability to quickly learn, use and develop the HR system
**Preferred**
- Experienced working with Cascade HR system
