Hours each week total 42.5 working Monday - Friday, 7am
- 4pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Overtime is available at time and a half. The yearly salary is £39,000 which equates to an hourly rate of £17.64.

You are required to have a full driving license in order to fulfil duties as you are required to travel between sites. The 2 sites are located only 15 minutes away from one another. Work conditions vary and could include indoors where the conditions mightbe noisy, dirty and oily and outdoor work that would need to continue in all weathers.

Responsible for repairing and maintaining mobile plant around sites to reduce down time, this is a critical role and reliability is paramount.

You will be required to work at height, for example on cranes and will be required to bend, stretch and lift heavy machinery parts.

Full PPE is provided, which includes helmets, boots, and safety glasses.

This is a 'hands on' role to mechanical and engineering projects and main activities include;
- Dismantling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing, assembling and testing diesel engines spares and assemblies.
- Dismantle engine assemblies and other equipment including clutches, steering legs and compressors.
- Dealing with all aspects of the equipment: electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic.
- Clean and inspect spares, highlighting any items that do not meet job requirements.
- Rebuild equipment including engines, fuel pumps and other ancillary equipment.
- Carry out testing and inspection to ensure spares and assemblies meet our high standards.
- Fault diagnosis using systematic approach including the use of a PC in with the engine management/control systems.
- Complete strip reports, test sheets, reports and other documentation in a clear concise manner.
- Provide daily updates, including site reports when on service work.
- Use various power tools as well as welding gear and electrical testing equipment.
- Take full responsibility for the quality of work.
- Work in a safe and organised way.
