6 month Project Manager contract in a Microsoft Gold Partner IT Services business in Bedfordshire.The role is offered as mostly remote with 1 day per week in the office and also possible extensions.

Working as part of a project management team on a busy pipeline of projects, across multiple clients and reporting into the Customer Success Manager

Projects will be varied and could be Azure migrations, mail migrations and focused around Microsoft 365.Responsibilities include:

- _Being responsible for the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project._
- _Managing and controlling the Project Budget to ensure completion within agreed cost and time parameters._
- _Identifying, assessing and managing Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) through to project completion._
- _Managing the project in accordance with Centrality Project Methodology ensuring a seamless handover to Service Centre._
- _Identifying and scheduling internal/external resources to deliver the project, manage those resources within a matrix structure._
- _Managing relationships, deliverables and project resources from third party suppliers._
- _Ensuring that realistic project plans are devised, maintained and agreed with all stakeholders._
- _Providing effective leadership to the project team, and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerance._
- _Managing the timely closure, invoicing and handover of the project into Business-As-Usual._

Essential skills required:

- _Eloquent project manager with strong stakeholder management, communication and time management skills. _
- _PMP or Prince2 practitioner_
- _Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with full lifecycle delivery_
- _Experience within Microsoft technology project delivery_
- _Client facing project management experience_

Rate is £400 - £450 p/d and the contract is for an initial 6 month period, but may well extend.This contract is exempt from IR35 rules.
