Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant for one of our partner secondary schools in Wilmslow. This is a full-time role beginning after February half term, our client is considering applicants of varying experience levels whetheryou have experience supporting those with SEN professionally, voluntarily or supported a family member.
- Full time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant needed
- Earn £1400 - £1500 per month
- Gain valuable experience working in an Ofsted good school with an outstanding SEN department

Our client school are looking for someone passionate about helping young people reach their potential, the school’s SEN department is extremely proud of the work it does and the results they get. A strong communicator is key for this role, you will oftenbe supporting the same children each day so the ability to build a strong rapport is of paramount importance.

Responsibilities and key skills in the role:

- Work with teaching staff to help identify students who would benefit from receiving extended support
- Work as part of a wider SEN team in looking to provide all students with an enthralling learning experience
- Patience when working with learners who will take time to process information
- Support students with SEMH, particularly depression and anxiety
- Regularly meet with your assigned students on a 1:1 basis, discussing all aspects of their school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
