As a **Support Worker**you can make a positive difference to people's lives everyday**. Discovery **is seeking new colleagues to join our team of **Support Workers **in **Crewkerne. **Working at our **Supported Living Service, **you will make a meaningful difference to the lives of the 7 ladies and 1 gentleman we support by enabling their independence.

Discovery **Support Workers** do not need prior experience in **Health Care Assistant** or **Social Care** roles as full training is given.

We are pleased to be able to offer both **Full **and **Part Time **roles.

**Benefits for Support Workers working with Discovery include**:

- 9.50 per hour, £30.50 per sleep in.

As a **Support Worker** no two days are the same as we encourage the people we support, to live the most independent life they can and help them make informed choices.

**Activities Support Workers may be involved with include**:

- Spending time in the beautiful garden
- Baking Cakes
- Listening to music and participating in guitar and singing afternoons
- Cinema film evenings
- Going out to meet with local friendship groups or family
- Visiting local beauty spots
- Popping into the local town for a coffee and cake in the morning
- Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include - but not be limited to - finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
- We do not need you to have prior experience as full training is given
- We want you to be happy to work within our values of ambition, courage, integrity, partnership and respect
- We know that you make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their loved ones.

This role requires an enhanced DBS Disclosure, which will be obtained for you by Discovery.
