Solution Lead

Do you have previous Business Process Outsource (BPO experience)? Are you keen to progress your career as a Solution Lead?
The Strategic Sales team has a Solution Lead opportunity available. This role would suit an experienced Solutioner or someone who has operational BPO experience and looking to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering end to end IT & BPS solutions working in close liaison with the Strategic Sales lead for smaller bids or the Solution Owner for large, sophisticated bids. The role involves developing solutions from initial concept though the bid to handover to delivery on contract signature.
The Strategic Solution Lead will lead the assigned Subject Matter experts and suppliers / partners ensuring that the solution is fully developed including costs, population of the RAID log, writing elements of and reviewing the overall customer proposal and ensuring the delivery governance gates are achieved.

**What you will be doing**:
Overall Ownership of Multi-faceted (multiple technologies, multi services) - either leading SMEs who design solutions as required or supporting a Large opportunities as a Solution workstream lead
Documenting Solution response to ITTs/RfPs covering SSL skills, capability, best practice methodologies, technical solution, opinion or innovation related questions in a clear, concise and compelling manner
Populating RAID logs
Creation of pictorial diagrams to support Solution TOM, Transition / Transformation plans,
Facilitating and owning end to end Delivery Governance process for opportunities owned as the Solution Lead or supporting the Delivery Governance process where Solution is owned by a Solution Owner
Creation of detailed Delivery Governance decks; populating with the support of others (SMEs)
Working with Procurement to secure winning solution partners at the right price to support solution being designed
Informing solution using intelligence from market and competitor analysis
Providing support / mentorship to Lead Solution Consultants whose ambition it is to become a Solution Lead / Solution Owner

**What you’ll bring**:
Experience of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
An overview understanding of SSL 'horizontals' i.e. IM /BPS / App Dev & System Integration / Business consulting / Apps Management
Used business analysis skills to draw out customer issues / requirements / opportunities
Understanding of Transition & Transformation including BPS services
Depth of knowledge and ability to solution using POPIT (People / Organisation / Process / Information / Technology
Designed bid resource plans and identified solution architect & SME resource requirements to develop the solution (effort & skills)
Taken ownership for the development of cost models and RAID logs
Led solutions for bids up to £10m or led a solution workstream for bids in excess of £10m

Experience of delivering customer focussed solutions
A flair for creating new ideas and being open to new commercial constructs
Ability to write persuasively & succinctly
Strong Negotiation skills to enable win-win outcomes
Excellent awareness of Risk and how to manage for large complex propositions
