Service Centre Engineer
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Service Centre Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Larkhill, Salisbury This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Service Centre Engineer:

- Repair, maintain and service, plant, equipment, and associate ancillaries to current company standards
- Assist in maintaining data integrity on the fleet system
- Carry out inspection programmes on equipment and report as required
- Maintain local stocks of spares, CES, ancillaries and attachments as appropriate
- Collect and input management information arising from maintenance and transaction activity
- Undertake delivery, collection and exchange of equipment and transactions, including inspections
- Ensure that the systems comply with health and safety standards
- When working remotely ensure effective time management systems are adopted to maximise output
- Undertake unscheduled repairs with financial limits to remove plant and/ or equipment from use
- Authorised to order spares within certain financial limits
- Able to work away from service centre location and in other company areas of operation
- Required to undertake out of hours duties including weekend work and call-outs.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a service centre engineer
- Strong communication skills, written and verbally
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literate
- Understand H&S, PUWER & LOLER requirements
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Comfortable with manual handling

This position is working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30pm. This role is paying £31,800 per annum.
