**Project Manager / Events / Programme Manager’sCore Duties**
- Manage various clients and programmes using formal project management disciplines, including project plans, risk registers, stakeholder maps and plans, communications plans, budgets etc
- Manage programmes to agreed timescales, budgets, and at high quality
- Lead project team through project phases to completion of a programme
- Chair team discussions around key activities and delivery of outputs
- Manage internal and external stakeholders with diplomacy
- Provide first-class customer service to clients and programme participants
- Assist Bid Managers and Client Relationship Managers with prospective clients
- Assist in the development of programme proposals and learning solutions
- Confirm terms and conditions with external speakers
- Identify suitable venues and coordinate the arrangements (i.e. accommodation, travel, catering, computing, entertainment, dinners, etc)
- Produce briefing packs, presentations and any other course materials
- Run the programme ensuring that the client is fully supported
- Analyse and distribute feedback and monitor quality control mechanisms
- Ensure all types of feedback are passed on to the senior management team
- Complete final budgets and accounts for each programme
- Stay abreast of IT learning developments, including apps and digital programme delivery
**Project Manager / Events / Programme Manager’s Key Skills**
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Project Management qualification (e.g., APM, Prince 2, Agile or other)
- Experience of large-scale project organisation
- Excellent professional project management and planning skills
- Experience managing costs and developing budgets
- Excellent IT skills; MS Office, Project Management software, and CRMs (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience working in a client-facing role with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written
- Experience of working in a service environment (desirable)
- Ability to negotiate solutions for clients and the company
- Willingness to travel internationally if required
- Able to work under pressure and to tight multiple deadlines
- Flexible and driven approach to work
- Ability to outside normal working hours if a project requires it
- Excellent attention to detail
