**AMAT have been ever present in the homeless sector offering supported accommodation to the people in Kent, and we are currently looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our amazing team**

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week). You will work up to 5 days over 7 days on a rotational basis covering shifts between 8.30am and 9.00pm, and working a minimum of one in four weekends.

The focus of this position is to empower an allocated group of residents to live independent lives. To achieve this, you will work with service users to develop person-centred support plans, maintain regular contact with service users through support meetings, refer service users to relevant key services, provide support to achieve goals and help with benefit or resettlement issues, and maintain a record of all contact in service user files.

At AMAT, we are focused on delivering the best service we can to our service users, and operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year service in order to achieve this. As such, you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays (including Christmas and new year) on a rota basis, therefore flexibility is key to this role
- 33 days of annual leave a year, rising in increments based on length of service to 38 days a year
- An additional day of annual leave a year for non-smokers and those who have quit smoking for 12 months or more and continue not to smoke
