What will you be doing?

Commercial in life management of VBSE, which is a significant high growth area in Vodafone Business. This role will be critical in ensuring that contract value is delivered in line with business case expectations on a large new contract as well as commercialmanagement of existing VBSE customers.

Key Requirements:

- In-life commercial management - Ensuring customer contracts are in line with expectations and supporting the sales team to negotiate directly with customers as and when required. Also ensure relevant deal commercial governance is adhered to.
- Commercial modelling - Business Case and pricing to ensure profitability of new contracts and any applicable contract variations.
- Drafting of schedules contained in contracts and variations, in collaboration with legal and account team.
- Preparation and provision of regular customer facing reports.
- Prepare and lead internal or external commercial negotiations, attend key customer and supplier meetings alongside the account team.
- Total project forecasting in collaboration with finance colleagues, to ensure project cost control vs business case expectations.
- Supplier management - Liaising with internal supply chain teams and external suppliers to ensure contracts in place and inclusion of specific customer contract flow down terms.

Who are we looking for?
- Excellent stakeholder management skills both internally and externally.
- Strong commercial acumen, being comfortable working with senior stakeholders and holding colleagues to account for their numbers.
- Evidence of driving strong commercial performance with excellent negotiation skills.
- Understanding contracts and fundamental principles of commercial contract drafting, and the implications the contractual obligations have on the financial model.
- Strong decision-making skills, including ability to balance conflicting interests and make decisions based on incomplete or unreliable information.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with the ability to simplify and structure complex commercial ideas
- Must have or be able to obtain DV Clearance*
- DV clearance, formally known as Developed Vetting, is the highest classification of security clearance that you can gain in the UK. Please note you must be eligible or already obtain DV clearance in order to proceed to interview*
