The role working within a fast paced aluminum powder coating plant. The successful individual needs to be physically fit to undertake a manual role and be willing to work a back shift as detailed below.
1. Responsible for loading and unloading metal from and to trolleys.
2. Loading pre-treatment machine,
3. Hanging metal on jigs,
4. Powder coating aluminium
5. Loading and unloading the box oven
7. Check the quality of all parts
8. Support other factory cells with labour and production of parts.
9. Strong awareness health & safety procedures such as manual handling
10. Excellent attention to detail
11. Reliable and hardworking ‘can do’ approach
12. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
13. Ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being able to work as part of a team
14. Ensure that you work in accordance with 5S principles to ensure that your work area is clean, tidy, organised and controlled.
15. rOS (record Operating System) will be an important part of the role. At the heart of this system is to improve performance, efficiency and quality using tools such as standard work, 5s and Kaizen.
- _Essential Criteria:_
1. Must have previous experience working as a powder coater within a fast paced flow production environment. Aluminium powder coating - Minimum 2 years’ experience.
2. Good team player with the ability to work on own initiative when required.
3. Excellent attention to detail with high quality standards
4. Reliable and hard working
5. Enjoys fast paced environment
6. Good verbal/written communication skills, able to build strong working relationships.
7. Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, flexible and committed attitude.
- **Desirable Criteria**:_
1. Computer literate with Microsoft Office packages.
2. Experience/Knowledge of the Aluminum door industry
- **Additional Information**:_
Hours: 39 hours per week
backshift working Mon-thur 07:30am to 16:00 and Friday 07:30am to 15:00.
Holidays: 33 days
