**365 People **is currently seeking a **Production Supervisor **to support our customer in Coventry. My Customer has produced many different types of Machines Tools and still remain one of the market leaders in both Internal and External Precision Thread Grinding Machine technology.
- **The ideal applicant would have experience working in a comparable capacity and should have a strong foundation in engineering. This job will require close collaboration with the management group to streamline the practises and procedures on the shop floor and assume overall accountability for the day-to-day operations of the shop floor and related responsibilities.**_
- **Working hours: MONDAY-THURSDAY= 07:30AM-4PM, FRIDAY= 07:30AM-3PM**_
- **Among the responsibilities are**:_
- arranging the production and building process.
- pursuing strategies for ongoing improvement.
- Liaison with internal departments could be necessary to ensure that the build plans and timetables are on track to meet contractual requirements.
- If necessary, new dates or construction plans are negotiated.
- assessing the resource and project needs.
- oversee the entire production/build process.
- making sure that health and safety regulations are followed.
- overall responsibility for the output.
- the ability to recognise potential problems, foresee them, and create suitable plans.
- To ensure that they are properly handled, ECR (Engineering Change Request) action is done.
- Whenever necessary, getting in touch with the suppliers, buying department, design engineers, and sales staff.
- **For this position, a motivated, assured production supervisor who can demonstrate the following traits is necessary;**_
- a track record of producing final assembled products while holding supervisory responsibilities in engineering organisations.
- analysing and reading technical drawings.
- outstanding practical knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of the MRP system would be advantageous but is not necessary.
- understanding of how to put new processes and improvement methods into practise.
- time spent in a technical environment.
- the ability to operate in a challenging environment and provide high-quality solutions on time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
