**Job Summary**: This is a lovely opportunity if you are looking to work with school aged children but not looking for a full-time nanny position all year round. Both kids are in school which is a 20-minute walk from their home in Clapham. The ideal nanny will be active, fun but firm, and can help the children with their homework. Both parents work full time, a mix or home and office, they want the nanny to become part of their family, they are easy going and can offer some flexibility at times.

**General duties**:

- Sole charge care
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children - good nutritious meal
- Helping with their homework
- School pick ups
- Arranging playdates and afterschool activities
- during the holidays planning fun things to do, day trips etc
- Cleaning up the kitchen after meal prep
- Picking up and encouraging the children to pick up after them selves
- Children laundry
- Extra babysitting is available if you want to make some more money
- Fluent English skills are required to help with reading, spelling and homework
- A fun active nature but also able to be firm with the children when needed
- Experience working with similar ages
- a good role model
- Strong preference for a nanny who comes from a teaching background
- degree or childcare qualification is also preferred
- The family are open to talking to someone with less experience if they can demonstrate they can do the job
- Organized and responsible, able to juggle both children’s schedules
- Must have good understanding of nutrition and be able to cook a variety of meals
