You’ll be responsible for planning and managing our customer requirements whilst making sure we achieve financial targets and develop our people.

**Operations Manager Responsibilities include:**:
- Lead a team of first line managers and ensure they become effective leaders in line with the Unipart Leadership Fundamentals
- Ensure health and safety standards are achieved on an on-going basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety
- Recruit exceptional people into our business and then take responsibility for their development as well as succession planning for the future
- Build and maintain strong mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, service providers, customers and colleagues
- Maintain stock integrity and ensure ownership of activities and resolutions
- Support performance improvement objectives; taking into account the need to respond to volume fluctuations and changes in business and customer needs
- Plan operational requirements against forecast and demand
- Liaise with customer representatives to resolve problems and maintain partnership relationships
**Operations Manager Requirements:**
- Extensive experience within a fast moving logistics operation
- Proven capability in process design and process improvement
- Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation
- Extensive people management experience and a track record of training and motivating a large team to achieve their goals
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly customer focussed and have the desire to go above and beyond for our customers each and every time
- We’d love to see some demonstrable experience of working with lean / continuous improvement techniques if you have that.
**Location**: Honeybourne - Evesham, Worcestershire WR11 8TZ
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, 40 per week Monday to Friday
**Salary**: £40,000 per annum
