**Branch Manager - Minster - Southampton**

**Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm (No weekend work)**

You'll be working for Minster in Southampton. Minster is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and are specialist insulation & dry-lining distributor offering comprehensive range of products online and across our network of 25 branchesnationwide.

To be a Branch Manager at a Minster branch you will have to: implement the tactical components required to deliver the Minster strategic plan. Maximise profitability through building successful working relationships with internal and external customers,staff and suppliers, while ensuring the branch operates in a professional and safe manner.

**What will I be doing in the role?**

Our Branch Manager is very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible for the safe, continuous and efficient running of the branch based in Southampton.

To support our branch effectively you will;
- Build health and safety culture to ensure that both staff and customers are free from accidents and that all parties actively endorse a safe and healthy working environment.
- Ensure individual and team compliance with the Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action.
- Proactively develop all employees to maximise performance and the delivery of results though people.
- Ensure branch knowledge of products and regulations is maintained
- Drive profitable market growth in chosen customer segments.
- Drive profitable market growth in chosen product segments.
- Ensure that the branch is the best provider of customer service locally and nationally as defined by the Customer.
- Support and delivery of all Company Customer Service initiatives.
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by your Line Manager.

**Skills required**:

- Proven experience in managing/leading teams.
- Proven experience in customer facing business.
- Proven track record of financial/commercial success.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
- Ability to work within a team locally and nationally.
- Knowledge of the distribution industry (working with Dry Lining, Insulation, Roofing and
- ceilings Products) preferred but not essential.
