Our client an international payments Financial Services aligned fintech SME business, that provides payment products and services to clients in the UK and Internationally are looking for a**Cost Controller (Balance sheet control).**This role will report to the Head of Balance Sheet Control. Primarily responsible for the accounting of the physical supply and distribution of bank notes in the Financial Institutions Group which forms part of Banking Services - Engaging a variety of stakeholders across the business including Front Office, Finance,Operations and IT - Legal entity reporting for a rapidly growing International Group, including the strong understanding of international accounting standards - Providing quality, accurate and timely analysis and information to management which encompassesthe development, management and understanding of month end reporting and the control environment. - Supporting project work affecting the business including business development, regulatory change, and finance transformation. **Key accountabilities in summary include**: - Month End Reporting - Management Reporting - Statutory Reporting - Financial Control - Project work and Analysis - Ad hoc duties Qualified Accountant > Experience of working within financial services and regulated entities > Experience of end-to-end process flows and data quality management of FX or volume payments processes or wholesale banking physical notes business preferred >Experience balance sheet reconciliations around cash > Experience of international groups or working in an international role > Intermediate/Advanced Excel > SQL experience desirable.
