E-trade Assistant Underwriter

We are currently recruiting for an E Trade Assistant Underwriter to join our established and experienced E Trade Assistant Underwriter team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
**Your Role**
In this role, you will be responsible for resolving issues and enabling brokers to complete their transactions online for e-traded products, handling web chat and phone channels for quotes, renewals, Mid term Changes, and general product queries. You will be dedicated to driving a better customer experience, aiming for first contact resolution whenever possible, and guiding customer interactions in a friendly, empathetic, and efficient manner.

You will manage inbound interactions with brokers in line with your underwriting licence and operational service agreements, working closely with your Technical Coach to consult on complex or non-standard risks outside your underwriting authority.

You will actively encourage and support brokers in utilizing e-channels and e-products, while redirecting them to the most appropriate resources to ensure operational efficiency and maximize the customer experience. As part of a high-performing team, you will contribute to fostering a culture of performance and pace, focused on enhancing customer experiences and delivering financial results.
**About You**
To be successful in the role of E-Trade Assistant Underwriter, it would be beneficial if you have some insurance experience in underwriting, claims, or broking, whether in personal or commercial insurance however this is not a necessity as full training will be provided.

You will have the ability to build working relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business, contributing to the growth of the account.
