**Carbon Consultant - Built Environment**

An award winning company 2020 Business Green Awards, Green Building Project of the Year and 2019 British Construction Industry Award, is looking for a Carbon Consultant to join their team In this team you will be recognised, rewarded and promoted for good work.

The purpose of this role is to work with a range of clients to verify carbon footprint claims. Helping business to achieve Net Zero targets and carbon related promises.

The role responsibility is to leading the delivery of Net Zero targets, carbon management, carbon foot-printing, carbon accounting, verification and validation strategies through;
- Reviewing project details and documentation provided by project teams, assess this against the project's targets and provide feedback or follow-up.
- Effective data management including setting up and maintaining project databases and project evidence trackers.
- Producing high-quality reports providing advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
- Attending site visits to review progress against various sustainability targets.
- Maintaining and keeping up with best practice in the industry.
- Assisting in preparing bids and proposals for new work.

Role Requirements
- Knowledge of or technical ability in sustainability/energy/renewable energy/built environment / environmental science related disciplines.
- Background in environmental / energy / carbon management.
- Emerging business development and sales skills.
- Thorough understanding on the construction industry/built environment.
- Client relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of project delivery.
- Hold a relevant degree or equivalent/higher.

Qualification
- ISO 14064 - Corporate standards for greenhouse gas accounting (Desired).
- PAS2080:2016 - Focused on carbon management in infrastructure (Desired).
- PAS2060 - Focused on demonstrating carbon neutrality (Desired).
- PAS2050 - Focused on verifying product-related carbon footprint (Desired).
- Net zero standards.
