**Job Title**: Desktop Support Analyst - Financial
**Location**: City of London
**Salary**: £40,000 (DOE)

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and configure new hardware, software, and peripherals, such as printers and scanners
- Provide support for all internal and external customers
- Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
- Report on recurring problems and provide suggestions for solutions
- Research potential solutions to complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT solutions, processes and procedures
- Monitor system performance and provide performance statistics and reports
- Maintain and configure IT systems, including local area networks and wireless networks

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of computer hardware, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
