Credit Controller

DDC Outsourcing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller at our Worksop site.

Responsible for the operation of credit control and to perform all other duties as delegated by the Financial Controller.

We will consider part-time (full days) or full-time (37.5 hours per week).

About the role

DDC Outsourcing Solutions provide business critical customer service support to a wide variety of businesses across the globe. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add to our talented team.
- Credit control
- Building relationships with customers
- Producing overdue debtors reports
- Chasing of overdue debts when required
- Raising of both invoices and credit notes
- Issuing of sales invoices to customers
- Issuing of credit notes to customers
- Dealing with customer payment queries
- Sales reconciliation reporting.
- Sales recharge invoices to group companies.
- Updating sales and bank information on our accounting systems
- Supporting the finance team when required with additional duties listed below
Additional Daily activities to include:

- Shared responsibility for updating SAP with daily banking.
- Cover for monthly bank reconciliations.
- Coding of purchase invoices and processing invoices where required.
- Cover for raising purchase orders as and when required.
- National statistics reporting.
- Assistance with weekly supplier payment runs.
- Assistance with reducing creditor
- Monthly reconciliation of intercompany purchase invoices to internal rate cards.
- Assistance with annual company audits.
Maintaining information and records in line with GDPR Policies and our internal Information Management Security processes.

What we require from you
- Experience in a credit controller role essential
- Minimum AAT qualified or a credit control qualification with 2-3 years’ experience in a finance function undertaking some form of accounts production activities.
- GCSE (or equivalent) levels C and above, A level/Degree in Accounting desirable.
- The role will require someone who can hit the ground running, work independently whilst also being a strong team player.
- System’s knowledge include Microsoft excel intermediate level (essential) & SAP B1 (desirable).

Your place of work

Although this role is home-based you will be required to visit our Worksop Office as and when requested, to collaborate with your colleagues and for upskilling.; therefore, you must live in commutable distance from Worksop.
