**Are you an experienced Business Developer with a proven track record of ecommerce sales? Do you have knowledge of global marketplaces and opening new sales channels? If the answer is YES, we could have the ideal role for you.**
Due to continued success, we are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.
**What will I be responsible for?**
This Business Development Managers role is at the heartbeat of our business. In the role, you will be taking full P&L ownership of our brand and be able to build & execute a strategy that will see them grow rapidly. From product development, launch strategy,customer service, inventory management, marketing and ads campaign management through to compliance, you'll oversee all aspects of the brands' growth on the marketplaces, our own website and developed new relationships with distributors
You will be required to push the brand growth across geographical borders and new distribution channels will be key to the success of the role and business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse marketplace data (revenue, page views, conversion rates, best seller ranking) to determine product trends and understand reasons why revenue is increasing or decreasing
- Develop new products with our factories and create launch strategies for them to achieve the best sales and geographical spread
- Manage the Advertising Strategies on the sales platforms and campaign management
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and optimise conversion rates of products
- Work with our contractors to reduce costs through product optimisation, return reduction, packaging dimensions
- Liaise with your Amazon to identify levers to increase sales
- Take responsibility for the social media presence and build on the website, collect customer data etc. and run data-based marketing campaigns
- Work on cross-functional projects to drive international expansion, channel expansion, product launches and campaign preparation
- Ensure effective inventory management, that our products are always in stock and we meet all required certifications
**As our ideal Business Development Manager**:
- You will have sound working knowledge of e-commerce sales opportunities, ideally with real hands on experience of marketplaces.
- Can demonstrate the successes you have achieved and have a real hands on approach, comfortable working within a small team and on your own (home working)
- You will be an analytical and outcome based individual, demonstrating a growth mindset and passion to constantly learn
- You will be capable of switching between strategy & operations - managing the hands-on, day-to-day things needed to build a successful seller business, whilst having the macro-level, strategic view needed to build a long-term roadmap
