**Job Outline**:
The Service Support Team Operator is employed as part of the STAS Service Delivery Team in all operational disciplines to ensure operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction of KPIs are achieved.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with the company goods in process, ensuring all disciplines are completed as appropriate, and products are correctly located within the warehouse.
- Conduct visual inspections and Functional Test and CES Check (FTCC) on receipt of all main equipment and record the findings.
- Complete order fulfilment on behalf of the company and client, undertaking all necessary security controls and ensuring export control and ITAR disciplines are complied with as appropriate, and making available for dispatch
- Receipt, acknowledge, prioritise and process customer requirements
- Pick and deliver equipment by serial number and Works Order (WO) to and from repair and assembly lines, and triage functional testing for returned equipment fleet
- Comply with all contractual Key Performance Indicators and ensure these are met.
- Assist with regular management checks, PI counts and on the spot, stock takes as required.
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company, MoD security, ITAR and health and safety legislation.
- Work within a team of colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and complies with company and legislative standards at all times.
- Compliance with all ISO and Health and Safety legislation, ensuring reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions.
- Willing to work overtime to meet business and customer needs when required and at short notice

**Personal Specification**:

- Experience of manual handling and moving stock
- A good level of general education (minimum of C grade or above in Maths and English at GCSE level).
- Are well organised and methodical with good attention to detail
- Ability to interact with a range of people supported by excellent communication skills.
- Experience of working in a team and working independently

The following attributes are considered desirable, but not essential for the role:

- Experience of using AX or SAP system to make enquiries and process transactions.
- An understanding of the MOD supply chain would be advantageous.
- General knowledge/use of computers and Excel
