**IT Systems Administrator 2nd line, Windows, IT Support**

An exciting opportunity as an IT systems Administrator 2nd line, at an award-winning finance company.

Role will be part of the team responsible for day-to-day support of IT infrastructure, being the escalation point from the IT help desk for incidents and requests, while also being involved with project work when required.

Working in a hybrid model of both home and office in-line with business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proactive monitoring of IT infrastructure and services using tools such as PRTG
- Work with 3rd line engineers to provide technical support for both on prem and cloud IT infrastructure
- Escalation points for the IT help desk
- Investigating problems, identifying root cause and implementing resolutions
- Monitoring of vulnerabilities and taking remedial action
- Work to best practices and ensure system documentation is updated and accurate
- Work with the Platform Engineering Team on IT projects as required
- Analyse and review improvement areas and assist with the process of implementing change using industry best practice.
- Responsible for effective provisioning, installation and configuration of systems

- Proven experience working at 2nd or 3rd line support level
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels

To be successful in this role you must be an excellent team player, be a quick problem solver able to react to changing priorities at a moments notice. While also keeping up to date on new technologies in line with business requirements.
