**Earnings**: £136 - £170 per day / £816 - £1,020 per week

**Experience**: You must have a minimum of 6-months Multi Drop Delivery Driver experience for this role

**Overview**:
As a Cover Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of parcels and packages to our customers. Your responsibilities will primarily involve providing coverage for regular delivery drivers routes during times of increased workload, absences, sickness, or other unforeseen circumstances. You will be expected to step in and fulfil delivery routes as needed to maintain service standards and customer satisfaction and KPIs.

**Responsibilities**
- Cover delivery routes for regular drivers during peak periods, absences, sickness, or other unexpected events.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any incidents or issues encountered during delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team management members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any operational issues or challenges.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Be flexible and reliable at all times.
- Willing to cross-train on all of our client accounts.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of 6-months multi drop experience.
- You can use your own van or we can provide one.
- For using our vans, a full UK/EU/International Manual Driving Licence is required with no more than 6 points (No convictions for AC, BA, CD, DG, TT codes)
- Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK as we do not provide foreign sponsorship
- Possess an Android or iPhone for using our delivery app/be able to operate handheld scanners.
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of the local area in which you are applying.
- Be capable and comfortable driving a van of transit size SWB or LWB.
- Has a positive attitude, consistently reliable, and maintains professionalism.
- Punctual and dependable are crucial attributes as they are essential for meeting delivery schedules.
- Availability and flexibility to provide a minimum of 6 days per week service.
