**Company Description**
Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. We match our Live In Carers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.
We are looking for a kind and compassionate live-in carer to support a couple who lives in central London in the Pimlico/Victoria area.
Robert and Mary are both 88 and love their life and their flat in Westminster, but Mary needs some medical help and Robert has Alzheimer's.
**Qualifications**
As a Live-in Care Professional, you will be required to provide the highest quality 24-hour care.
- You will be responsible for delivering your client's personalised care plan and health goals, enabling clients to live life to the full in their own homes.
- You will manage the Client’s medical condition, meals, hygiene and ensure their safety at all times.
- You will maintain a positive relationship with your client, their family, friends and those supporting their health and well-being and be trustworthy and compassionate.
Some of your duties as a Live-in Care Professional:
- Providing companionship and supportive listening,
- Preparing meals,
- Responding to emergency situations,
- Prompting and administering medication,
- Accompanying and transporting patients to appointments and/or social events,
- Facilitating community and recreational outings,
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activiti
**Additional Information**
As a Live In Carer, you will be provided with an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
